UPDATE – program for Circus Poker Club

From May 2020 Circus Poker Club Antwerp will reopen its doors. We’ve adjusted our poker program for May. Of course we follow up the newest information and measures concerning COVID-19. You can find the latest news about Corona virus and what it means for our club right here.

After six months of working our butts off, it’s time to take our conclusions. Circus Poker Club Antwerp is ready for the next level. Discover all about our new poker program in Circus Poker Club starting March 2020!

Circus Poker Club celebrates its half birthday. During these first six months we’ve worked hard, especially behind the scenes, to push the project in the right direction. In this article we present you the new program.

Why wait before telling you? Starting in March 2020 Circus Poker Club Antwerp will be open 5 days a week. We organize poker events from Wednesday until Sunday.

Program in themes

Because of the COVID-19 virus Circus Poker Club Antwerp is closed until further notice. We plan to reopen the doors of our venue mid May. More updates and an updated program will be communicated when we have an exact reopening date.

Starting in March Circus Poker Club chooses to work with a weekly program in themes. The next 10 weeks every week we will offer something else. Every week there’s a completely new program, so every week there will be something else to discover. Now of course the safe bets will be integrated in this new calendar. In the upcoming days and weeks we will present a new festival from time to time.

We will communicate about the exact dates and program once we know when we can reopen again. For now, we are closed until further notice.

Details of the new calendar

With the updated calendar we want to make sure that every player has a live poker offer to enjoy.

• The maximum buy-in for the events is always 20 euros
• On Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday the events will be finished by 1 am at the latest. On Friday and Saturday the formats will be deeper so the event will be finished later
• We want to offer as many single-day events as possible so that every player can pick & choose what they want to play. We will also create some space for multi-day events
• Every weekend the focus will be different. We will vary in different formats

• Add the calendar by surfing to calendar.google.com on your computer
• Click on Add (+) From URL
• Copy and paste this URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/pokahnights.com_7mggnirc90257mh7eiu0f28uik%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
• Tap add
• Open the Google Calendar app on your smartphone
• Tap Menu and then Settings
• Tap the calendar you want to view. To find the Circus Poker Club calendar you might have to tap Show more
• Turn Sync on

You can add the full calendar of Circus Poker Club to the agenda on your desktop or laptop.

• Open Google Calendar on your computer
• On the left, next to ‘Other calendars’, click Add (+) From URL
• Enter the calendar’s address in the field provided. Therefore you copy and paste this url: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/pokahnights.com_7mggnirc90257mh7eiu0f28uik%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
• Click Add calendar

The calendar will appear on the left side under ‘Other calendars’. It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

How can you play along?

Everyone older than 18 years is welcome at Circus Poker Club. All players need a member card to participate. The production of this card costs 15 euros, this is a one-off cost. There are no other obligations, everybody is free to play along with the Circus Poker Club festivals.

GPS – Use “Valkstraat 13 in Wilrijk”. You will arrive at the backside of the building. At the front next to the store on the left side is the entrance to our club. We are located on the first floor. In front of the building, under the bridge (A12) is a lot of free parking space.
