How Days of Poker calculates the rake
In the Open Face Chinese Poker app by Days of Poker you can play OFC Games. This is possible with play money (coins) or real money (euro). Both the play money as the real money version work with a cost (rake). This rake is held from your buy-in to guarantee a perfectly functioning Days of Poker app. In this article we clarify how the rake of Chinese Poker games in Days of Poker is calculated.
Rake for Normal & Fast games
In the Normal en Fast games Days of Poker uses different names for the many stakes you can play at. Next stakes are available: Nano, Mini, Tiny, Little, Mid, Big, Mega, Giga and finally Epic.
Normal games
For the Normal Games you have to keep in mind next factors: the higher the stake per point, the less points rake you’ll pay. On a Nano game, with a stake of € 0,01 per punt, you’ll pay 4 points on your whole game, which equals € 0,04. In an Epic game you play with 10 euro per point. On a full game you pay 20 euro rake, which equals 2 points.
Fast games
For the Fast Games the following applies: the higher the stake per point, the less rake you’ll pay. The amount of points rake that you’ll pay depends on your stake per point. In a Fast game you play 3 games at the same time. Your buy-in and your rake will be 3 times as high because of this. This way your rake will be between 12 and 6 points. In euro, that is between € 0,12 and € 60.

Rake for Events
In the Events with a buy-in up til € 55 the rake is a little higher than 9%. The higher the buy-in, the more the percentage of rake will drop. In events with a buy-in of 109 euro, you’ll pay 8,3% rake or € 9. We try to make sure that a round number goes to the prizepool. Below you’ll see a clarification of the rake distribution.

Rake for Sit & go’s
Sit & Go’s can be played with a buy-in from 1 up til 500 euro. Days of Poker calculates 10% of your buy-in as rake, in the buy-ins up til 10 euro. The higher the buy-in you play for, the lower the cost you’ll pay. If you’re playing a sit & go for 500 euro, you’ll only pay 4% or 20 euro rake. Only for highrollers!
