Circus Poker Club offer fall 2019

In the summer of 2019 Circus opened up a brand new poker club in Antwerp. Because Circus and Pokahnights combined forces, Circus Poker Club was born. Pokahroom Antwerp got a complete make-over and therefore became a stylish place where many play live club poker. A new membership concept was introduced when re-opening but clearly needed some adjustments afterwards.

Play Live Club Poker

The Sportify Poker thinktank assembles and analyses feedback of dozens of poker players. Late August they consequently came up with a revolutionary proposition. Their idea could possibly bring Club Poker in Belgium to the next level. All within prior set boundaries. While previous memberships were still based on drinks and food, the new memberships are 100% designed to play live poker.

A brief summary:

1. Circus Poker Club will organise on every event day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) one Freeroll Main Event.
2. In each Freeroll Main Event we guarantee a prize pool of €2.000.
3. Only members can play the Main Events.
4. A player can become member of the club by paying a fix amount per month. Starting with only €65 per month for only playing once a week to €175 when you want freeroll every event day. That’s right, you don’t pay anything extra for playing the freerolls!
5. The club becomes free accessible for everyone over 18 years for all Side Events, Specials and SnG’s. Playing these events will cost the player only the usual €20 buyin per event.

Happy September 2019

In September the team behind Circus Poker Club decided to open up doors for everyone during the entire month. Because of this players only pay a onetime fee of €15 for their membership card and are welcome every event day to play. All events have a buyin of €20. No other obligations concerning memberships, drinks or food are required!

Start October 2019

The CPC team plans to start up Sportify Max in October. But in order to realise this we need everyones enthusiasm within the club poker community. The first check, the notorious social media check, we passed brilliantly. In less than 24 hours more than 100 players gave their support to the concept. The second check are indeed the memberships. Here we aim for 150 memberships so we know we’re starting something that is supported by many. The concept however needs re-evaluation when this target is not reached.

We would be grateful if we would see 150 full memberships (175€) coming in straight from the start. We believe it’s the best way to play live club poker. This could really boost up an entire club poker sector. A sector more over in business for already 10 years and creating not only dreams but also opportunities for low stakes players. Just look at the recent win of Glenn Laureys in the UPBC 2019 Main Event. So when you go for a membership, please consider the full pass right from the start. Together we can build a unique concept.

How to become member of the club?

Before stating the practical info we clarify our 5 formulas :

• €65 per month: 1 fix day per week
• €80 per month: 1 flexible day per week
• €125 per month: 2 fix days per week
• €135 per month: 2 flexible days per week
• €175 per month: all days ánd 15% discount at the bar

You got 2 options when registering. Or you pay cash in the room, or you transfer the money to Pokahnights VZW with bank account number BE17 3770 0948 5021. Don’t foget to add following details “Sportify Max 201910 – Last Name – Name”. Please do separate transfers for more than 1 membership. So if you’re paying for a friend or relative as well please do so in different payments. Our admin thanks you.

Playing schedule Circus Poker Club fall 2019

Today we announce some small changes to the existing playing schedule of the club. You can play live club poker at Circus Poker Club on these event days.

On Friday 
Open from 19h till 04h
Events start at 20h and 22h30

On Saturday
Open from 16h till 04h
Events start at 17h, 20h and 22h30

On Sunday
Open from 14h till 00h
Events start at 15h, 18h and 20h30

Each time 90 minutes of late registration are foreseen.

The Freeroll Main Events of October will be played on Friday and Saturday at 20h and on Sunday at 15h. Each Main Event gets a late registration periode of at least 2 hours.
